Question ?ntsysv where it will write


hi

i am just wondering, whenever i will be using /usr/sbin/ntsysv command

"where it will store the information?"

could anyone tell me without hesitation?

searching google I found that ntsysv is actually a program
that configures what services need to be started on boot, right?
In that case all the info gets written in the runlevel directories (/etc/rc0.d -> /etc/rc6.d)

thats true, there is seperate directory for each runlevel and a start and stop script is writen for each service

its interesting, so if i am removing the files from rc(runlevel).d folder, will it gets removed from startup?
