Exclamation NTSYSV problem

Hello, Im having a problem with ntsysv and chkconfig. When I run them I get an error message "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". Im not very fluent with linux but I know enough to be dangerous. I can reinstall but I would rather fix the problem the right way if it can be. Im running Redhat 6.2, can anyone help me??
