Nautilus not searching/finding files in subfolders

I have installed Archlinux with LXDE which is working well. I have installed Nautilus (version 3.6.2) which also works well but on finding files (started using control-f) it finds files only in the current folder and not from subfolders. I have checked preferences but could not find any option to change this. I have seen Nautilus in older Ubuntu and latest Linux Mint where it works well and searches files from subfolders also. How can I correct this problem. Thanks for your help.
