i am running redhat 7.2 and having some problems playing mp3s
SOME mp3s play fine but others make weird sort of beeping glitchy type noises all throughout the song and i know its not the mp3 because i burned it to a cd and have played it on windows and the dvd player over by the tv so i was just wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this and how to fix it thx

Could be a problem with the application or possibly the cd itself. Have you tried possibly maybe another application or maybe copying the files to the hard drive to play and test them?

yep i tried xmms as well and its not the cd its on because i copied them to hd and they also work on other computers and the dvd player i am completely stumped ;/
