make a screensaver from a .mpg file?

Hi,
I was wondering if it were possible to make a screensaver from a .mpg file?

What I was thinking was that after, say, 10 mins of inactivity, the computer would play the .mpg file in MPlayer, say, in fullscreen mode.

Does anyone think this is possible?

Hi!

I think you can do it by putting a line into your .xscreensaver file, something like this

"My Movie" mplayer myMovie.mpeg \n\

You can find it in the xscreensaver faq :

h**p://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/faq.html

Please let me know if it works, thanks.
