Looks like 2.5 kernel is almost here - and AC won't be maintaining 2.4!


That right. A few more releases and Linus is going to open 2.5. It came as somewhat of a surprise to me that Alan Cox will NOT be maintaining the 2.4 kernel once 2.5 is opened. Instead the job goes to Marcelo Tosatti.
