Sorry I went off on you so quick, but think about it from my perspective. Trickykid and several other regulars have been very helpful to me and many others. They are all very knowledgable, patient, giving, and sweet to others and newbies (at least most of the time

To say comments like what you said without knowing it as a joke offended me. I found it to be way outa line, and very similar to your other posts you have made. But you have to admit... considering some of the other stuff people have said to you about your posts, mine has got to be considered just a light smack across your fac, RIGHT?

But if you did mean it as a joke, then I will drop the issue now. Just please watch what you say and consider how it may be taken. Next time I may not be so nice.. and we all know how hard it is for me to get nasty

Certainly nothing wrong with the ECS K7S5A I have built 3 computers using that board and never a problem.. My main box where I run man 8.1 has a gigabyte GA-7DXR using the raid channels as promise ATA 100 ide. One of the best boards ive ever used! As far as difference in speed between different chipsets, in most cases you would have to be some kind of a robot to see a difference of a few milliseconds...For any kind of serious gaming, the truth is in the video card in use.

I've had a great experience with the Shuttle AK31A. I've been thinking about buying one to soup up my Linux box. They are cheap at $80 from Newegg.
