kde 3.4

heya, i keep hearing about kde 3.4 is there a mandrake build of it? i see amny of the other distros but not mandrake. is it worth updating and how difficult is it to upgrade?

There is a post somewhere in the Mandrake forum about the availability of Mandrake KDE 3.4 RPMS. Do a search or sift through the threads.

If you really want to have the packages then get them, otherwise download konstruct from the kde homepage. Assuming you have broadband it will download and compile all the bits you need....but be warned, the whole thing (minus the internationalisation) took approx 10 hours to build on my 1.6 GHz Duron!

10 hours, those poor devs! can u imagine the compile time / test time for bugs.
