Why wont my KDE 3.2 FC2 setup run make commands w/KDE 1.x packages?
If i open a Konsole window in the /mnt/cdrom dir where there are KDE 1.x rpms for Katchit and KOdometer and run ./configure, nothing happens. if somewun can tell me where to get new tars or rpms for these, pleez tell me where
KDE 1.x RPMS (or KDE 1.x programs, in general) won't work with KDE 3.2 (or won't work in most cases). The only method is to install old KDE (I don't think you will find RPMs), probbaly from source and then install the app (also form source). I tried to find Katchit's port to KDE 3, but it looks it's no longer in development.
