K3b Burning toooo slow

Hi There Gang - can someone assist -

In the past few weeks I have been using k3b for burning .. (worked great)

A complete Cd took abot 15 mins to burn ---

Now for some unknown reason it takes over 5 mins a track .

Can some advise as to what to check pls.

I use k3b on Fedora 2 , kernel vers 2.6.5-1.358

have anyother programs slowed down? It might be a memory leak, you could check for updates in the program (i am dumb arn't i)

Did you check the settings of K3b? One unintentional click and you can set the default value of how fast to burn to 1x...
