Installing a driver

I'm writing my own device driver for a pci card and want to install it in the kernel. I want it to be in the kernel so i don't have to do an insmod everytime i reboot. Any help on doing this would be appreciated. I'm running V2.4.18, Mandrake.

TIA

Ryan
