Question please help with installing the hostap-driver-o.1.3 driver for wireless card

I am trying to install the hostap-driver-0.1.3 driver for the Netgear MA 311 wireless card. I downloaded the hostap-driver-0.1.3.tar.gz file, and extracted it. I now have the hostap-driver-0.1.3 folder in my home directory. The folder holds 7 items.
I don't know what to do next. Another thread said to try ./configure, but there is no "configure" file in the folder, & the command line responds with "no such file or folder".
I am a new RedHat9 user. Any step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the README.

You don't run ./configure. Just jump straight to "make"
