i8042.c: Can't write CTR while loading AUX.

Hi all,

I recently installed RHEL4 update 3 (Enterprise Server) and am having some problems with it. Occasionally, after the OS loads, the mouse and keyboard (both PS/2 standard) fail to work. I am getting this error message:

i8042.c: Can't write CTR while loading AUX.

Please let me know if you've had this error or can help me solve it.

Thanks,
Sallisha

P.S. I have changed the keyboard and mouse already and am still having the same problem.
