I killed my desktop!

I am working with Mandrake 9.1 and KDE. I used ctrl/alt/esc to initiate the kill command. But I missed the icon I wanted to delete and now all my icons are gone and neither mouse button works.

How do I fix this. I've tried the control center with no luck. Is there a way to unkill?

log out and back in?

D'oh - you're supposed to click on the window, not the taskbar entry

I'm not sure but you could try to type gmc in the console.

Thanks to all that replyed. I never thought of just logging out and back in. Worked great though.
