How to skip Grub and lilo menu

I'm running Mandriva 2007.With booth Grub and lilo I have a boot menu when the computer starts up.

I would like to just boot straight into the OS with out that menu. I know I can set the time delay to 1sec. But, I want to bypass the menu all together.

is this possible and if so how?

Thanks

Yes, it's possible with one of the SysLinux bootloader derivatives, ExtLinux. However, it's just a matter of time until you are sorry you did this. At some point in the future you will want to add another bootable partition, have a problem booting, need to change a boot parameter, etc. Just hit enter at the grub menu, and the system boots immediately.

In grub.

Code:
default 0
fallback 1
timeout 1
hiddenmenu
hiddenmenu hides the menu. You will have 1 second (timeout) to push Esc and get the menu back, otherwise, on to the default OS.
