Question hey guys, question on reiserfs

Hey guys,

I just made a website with slashcode, and its running beautifully (I wont tell you the domain because that would be wrong to advertise of a site like this) But here is my question. I currently have slackware 8.0 running kernel 2.4.9 with a 20gb harddrive and 20gb back up drive. How would I convert everything on hda1 which is / to reiserfs? i dont have any other partitions. i was thinking about tar'n the whole harddrive and moving it to the back up, then converting the drive to reiserfs. If I did that would I need to make a reiserfs disc to boot up? Or would it be easier to make a /boot partition and keep it ext2? could someone Please tell me the best way of doing this, thank you....
