Hey Guys
Hey guys, just posting to say hey and that im new here, i guess it would be polite to tell you a bit bout me, well im from the UK and im in my 2nd year at college, doin an ict course and have just started a cisco networking qualification. I have mostly experience with windows but have just bought myself a copy of Redhat 9 and installed that on my machine, although i cant say it went smoothly as im a complete newbie to linux other than a bit of use with lindows 2.0, not sure if that counts tho. the machine im using, if any1 is interested is one iv made and the specs are as follows:
Mobo: Abit KT7 MAX2
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Barton
RAM: 256 MB's of DDR PC2700
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
Hard Disks: 1 x Western Digital Raptor SATA Drive, 10,000 RPM 36GIG and a Seagate Barricuda 7,200 RPM 60GIG drive.
CD-ROM: Pioneer DVD-ROM
i think thats about it, except i need help so ill be posting a fair bit soon. hope you guys can help with my porblems. cya soon
