Help needed for chinese font display

I'm using Redhat AS 2.1 distribution.

Right now, facing problem with X application in Traditional chinese locale.

The application needs to display date in chinese fonts and rest of things in english. I'm using resource files located in app-default dir to setup fontlist for that app.

Is there anyway to display date in chinese and rest of the text in english correctly?

Is there any fontset available that has english and chinese char set? If so than what is procedure to install it and use it in resource file.

Thanks.
