how can I add Chinese font to system?

I have installed Redhat 9 with kernel 2.6. Now the problem, it can not display Chinese properly in the system, for example, Mozilla can not show Chinese in its title bar. (but Mozilla can show chinese content in its body ).

So how can I add Chinese font to system? give me details, please.

Thanks.

If you are running kde you should add the corresponding kde-i18n file to the system, if you are running something else you should be able to load a language setup tool and then add chinese, I run kde on SuSE 9.0 and all chinese characters look fine in Firefox

I'm not used to setting chinese suport but for japanese, I add following lines in /etc/profile:

Code:
export LC_CTYPE=ja_JP
So if my guess is correct, you should add:

Code:
export LC_CTYPE=zh_CN
to the /etc/profile.

You could also try the following:

zh_CN
zh_CN.gb18030
zh_CN.gb2312
zh_CN.gbk
zh_CN.utf8
zh_HK
zh_HK.big5hkscs
zh_HK.utf8
zh_TW
zh_TW.big5
zh_TW.euctw
zh_TW.utf8

from 'locale -a' command.
