I'm wondering how to enable Firefox to open an IM window when I click on those nifty IM icons. Currently, when I click on one of those links, it launches a new instance of Gaim instead of an indivdual IM window to the user in question.

I believe you'd benefit from looking at gaim-remote-uri which would give functionality to load the links into existing gaim instances. I think.
I looked into that already on gaim's website. It doesn't work. When I used the gaim-remote uri %s in user.js, I get the error of "aim is not a registered protocol"
