I have a 1.3gHz Pentium 4 (single core)
640MB ram
40GB HDD
radeon9800
I'd have to dig too much to find my motherboard. *me yawns
I'll have to admit, I'm a linux n00b, but I had previously set up a functioning LAMP server on openSUSE 10. I was unhappy with the extensive and illogical difficulties I encountered in setting it up, so here I am. Everything on Fedora has felt inappropriately sluggish, even laggy. Opening small folders, firefox (particularly) text and I'm at a loss as to where the "feel" gives me any feedback on where the problem lay. I'll be honest here, between Fedora and SUSE, I've been so angry I've put off reinstalling my LAMP components, so I haven't looked into this more extensively.
thanks for your time, reguardless of any response.
Good day.
