doom3 running slow in Fedora core 4


hi i had installed doom3 in my system and i'm experiencing very slow running of the game, but the same game works at top performance on windows xp in the same system. my system config is P-4 520/2.8GHZ, intel D915GAV desktop board, 40GB samsung sp0411c sata hdd, 384MB RAM,
15" samsung Sync Master 591s monitor. i have set my desktop resolution to 1024x768 at 70HZ at 24 bit depth, if any one knows how to configure the game to run fast pls help me.

What is the output for that? Are you using the proper Intel drivers?

hi this the output of glxinfo, i'm using the drivers provided by intel in its driver updatesite and i don't know how to set the desktop color depth to 32 bpp, will the game work on 32 bpp depth. i'm using X-org on KDE desktop on Fedora Core-4.
