Cool ext3 volume / win2000 problem

Hey, having recently upgraded to RH8 and converting the linux part to ext3, hen I finally booted W2k, it reported the \\?\Volume{abcabc-1234-abcabc...} is corrupt? and wants to do a disk check? Then W2K realises that someting's up cause the disk isn't a FAT bloated type, so skippes the check!? Disk management hangs the MMC? - scratching head

I've checked the part table - it's looking ok. Can I "hide" the ext3 volume and still be able to boot ok using the grub?
