email provderis

Hi, interested in any suggestions for an email service. Not yahoo, Google, MSN related.

I currently use a free service and I think it is time to change and I don't have a problem paying for a service.

What am I looking for in an email service? Security for my mails. A decent spam filter (the current service is so erratic - it picks up a lot of Libre Office posts as spam and let's through a lot of phishing stuff). I normally read my emails in thunderbird or on an app on my android phone (security compromise?). I am not a huge user and I don't need terrific amounts of storage (at this point).

I guess, what do you use? All suggestions welcome

Cheers

Tim

I don't suggest you, just mention protonvpn has mail service too, probably it is good enough for you.

Thanks for all the responses. I have a proton free account so I'll start off with that and see how it shapes up. May migrate to the first paid account
