Changing install device name

I installed Linux on /dev/sdb.

But later, due to addition of new hard drives, it got pushed to /dev/sdc.

Now when I boot into /dev/sdc, it tries to mount everything on /dev/sdb. How do I edit the configurations on my Linux installation to now point all references to /dev/sdb as the former install drive, to /dev/sdc?

(I use Slackware, if that helps any.)
