Ok. I've started knoppix, then I've executed k3bsetup. There I've confirmed all the options presented. It found the two devices (cd burner and DVD burner). But there is nothing about the capability to burn DVD! There is a list of commands like: mkisofs, cdrecord... but noone looks about dvd burning. I've got dvdrecord on knoppix, but it isn't in the list and I can't find the way to add it! I've added no users, so I've got a message informing just root will be able to burn.
I open a shell, become root and I execute k3b.
In the interface I have no reference to DVD burning but CD burning. Is this normal?
The errors are:
cd record unknown error code 255
unknow error 255
I don't know what to do!
Thanks!

the output of cdrecord -scanbus let me see the dvd on the scsibus0 as device 0,1,0
I'ev tried dvdrecord -scanbus and I've got the dvd recorder on the same device... dvd+rw-tools is in knoppix 3.3. I'vedpkg -l | grep dvd
gives me back
dvd+rw-tools 5.13.4.6
dvdrecord
two libraries
While I was waiting I've tried to make it work with k3b (dvd+rw-tools is installed) in sid. There when I've tried to burn a dvd project I''ve got:
:-( unable to GET EVENT: Input/output error
and then the DVD is gone... it is happened two times.
Thanks for the help!
