Hey everyone,

I am looking to get a simple DVD burning program. I would like to be able to burn my own mpeg or avi movies to a DVD and watch them on my DVD player. I've done this with a VCD before but they suck

The only program that I can find is qdvdauthor. I can't seem to figure this program out. It seems to be designed just to make the menu for the DVD.

Could anyone suggest a good program to simply encode and burn the DVD as video. I'm not concerned about making menu's but if you know of something that will burn the movies and make menu's well enough then give it to me.

Mandrake 10.0 Official
P4 1.4 GHz
640 MB RD-RAM
GeForce 4 Ti

Also, if your ever looking for a new DVD player, I just bought a new Philips one that plays AVI (DivX 3/4/5). It's great, DVD quality on one CD. It was $100 CAD (like $70 US?)
