Cannot install Redhat Linux 7.2...Help...
I cannot install the Redhat Linux 7.2 in my computer.
When redhat linux is booted from CD-rom, the computer is hang in loading SCSI driver screen. My SCSI controller is adaptec AIC-786X SCSI controller.
Also, I disable the PCI SCSI chip in BIOS. But Redhat linux also detect the SCSI controller and hang when load the SCSI driver.
Moreover, I use the driver disk to install the linux. I type "expert" in boot mode and go to the installation screen. But the computer also hang in loading SCSI driver screen.
I think my SCSI controller may unsupport by Redhat Linux 7.2. But I disabled the PCI SCSI chip so Redhat Linux should not detect the SCSI controller. Unfortuntely, Linux detects the SCSI controller.
How can I do?
Have solution to solve this problem?
