Question Cannot display 1024x768, high resolution on my Dell GX 270 using RedHat 9

My configuration is:

Dell Gx270 (Pentium 4-2.6G), 512MB RAM, Intel 865G chipset, building VGA used, RedHat 9 installed. BIOS version:A03

My question is:
I cannot use 1027x768 high resolution on X-Windows (cannot start X). Everything okay if 256 color used.

I've visited a lot of faq websites and some of them asking that this Dell model suffer such problem with A03 BIOS. Yes, I'm using A03 BIOS. I tried to down-grade to A02 but fail. The system do not allow me to down-grade. So, any expert can help.

Thanks!
