Ok well today I been fixing every problem that I had with Linux so far its been a succes I got one problem left and that is X-Chat wont let me connect to DALnet ! When I try to connect I usually get this or simular
--- Looking up irc.dal.net..
--- Connecting to arcor.de.eu.dal.net (151.189.12.20) port 6667..
--- Connected. Now logging in..
-tiscali.uk.eu.dal.net- *** Looking up your hostname...
-tiscali.uk.eu.dal.net- *** Checking Ident
-tiscali.uk.eu.dal.net- *** Found your hostname
--- Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (You match the pattern of a known trojan, please check your system.)
--- Disconnected (Remote host closed socket).
There is no chance of a trojan though ! Its been happening 5 mins after I installed and connected to the net !
I wouldn't be too quick to say that there is no chance! I would do a quick post scan with nmap on yourself to see what ports are open on your system. Some IRC networks will refuse connections from clients with certain ports open on their system.
