can't install mysql on SuSE Linux 8.1 Professional
I can not install mysql on SuSE Linux 8.1 Professional
I tried a few ways including:
1. YaST did not install it properly (8.0 and 8.1 had different behavior but neither worked)
2. downloading mysql-3.22.26a.tar.gz from a site
-following the directions on the site did not work
-directions in README were inconsistant and did not work
Can someone help me with this? Also, any tips on installing & using Perl's DBI & DBD modules?
