When you go to the site it is going to look like a 404 error page, but read carefully! I chose linuxstolescocode.com because I thought it would go well with a 404 error page as if someone was looking for information about Linux aledgedly having stolen SCO/Caldera code, the 404 page would be well suited because stolen SCO code in Linux could not be found.
I am going to have up to the date news and other info as well as a forum for the Open Source community to discuss this "crack smokin" lawsuit.
I welcome all suggestions and volunteers for working on the site as editors!
but on a serious note, here's hoping this lawsuit costs sco, not the other way around.. i've been following this fairly closely recently, and although sco's claims appear to be all smoke and mirrors, and frankly outrageous, it still lies in the hands of the lawyers.. i daren't even contemplate the consequences of a ruling in sco's favour.
Now all we have to do is make 30 sites link to it about "can't find stolen code" or something, and it will appear on google, just like the french military defeats, etc.
Please do not use our forums as a way to promote your site or advertise it. There are other ways around this but our forums are not the classifieds. I do not intend to come off rude but members of LQ.org do not go around posting in other forums or mailing lists, groups, etc, to promote this site. Well at least none of the moderators or site admin don't.
If you are interested in advertising, profit or non-profit, please contact the site admin or the Advertising link at the bottom of each page.
If you feel this is an injustified action, you can send your concerns to either myself or the site admin regarding this post. Do not start another thread discussing this publicly as it will be closed.
