I hope it makes Microsoft continue to publicly trash linux as much as possible. I really enjoy hearing them say how bad Linux is. They are so afraid. They fear a software revolution.
Is there a war going on????????
Hmm. The SCO may think they are at war with us. but it is not yet for sure, who originally wrote the virus.
The likely out come of the war, will be that linux wins. Not just to be optimistic. But even if we loose part or all of the kernel to SCO we still have the GNU/HURD from the FSF. I don't se how the war could be lost. we could take several serius hits, but we could never louse.
You can't say that civilization don't advance, however, for in
every war they kill you in a new way.

how do you think the war will end?

Exactly. I guess there are quite a few people out there that think that just cuz a new virus is out that somehow makes windows and microsoft look bad, and they like that.
It is apparent that, for unfathomable and never articulated reasons of their own, Microsoft is DETERMINED to ship an inherently unsecurable, consumer-targeted operating system, containing the openly accessible Internet research interfaces known as Full Raw Sockets.
i think i know the reason, its so tehy can charge more money for fixes and such then people origional paid for the OS, pluss tehy can sell the virus wirters and such information that will help them make viruses for windows, and even sell teh backdoors to governments, so they can spy on us, and if your a busnes, they can steal your code and patent it and sue you
Microsoft is moving to a new phase in its competitive attack, arguing that the company is better than IBM and Linux when it comes to connecting different applications.
i agree with that statment, mircosoft is VERY good at connecting difrent applications to the main OS (wich is y if 1 program crahes, it can kill the rest of ur system )
---by the way, the spell check dont work for me, it just wotn do a single thing, i think whoever wrote it works at MS
