Accessing Internet from Fluxbox

I have just installed Fluxbox on my PC but cant get any of the Net apps to dial the internet.

I would like to know where i can find the network device control to activate my internet connection.

There is no System Settings in FluxBox??

Fluxbox is a window manager, not a full blown desktop environment like KDE or Gnome. Either use the helper applications from Gnome or KDE - at least the Gnome ones can be run from the command line - or use a commandline equivalent like wvdial. You can add menu entries for your commonly used Gnome/KDE helper apps just like for any other application.
