World of Warcraft Patching Error
Ok, I have just recently installed Linux on my computer.
I have gone back and forth between Mandrake 10.1 and Ubuntu. (I'm currently using Ubuntu.)
My problem is this:
I use the newest version of both Point2Play and Cedega, and while I can get World of Warcraft to install and run, whenever I try to download the patch via the Blizzard Downloader, I get this error: "Data written to disk has failed verification multiple times. It is possible that your hard disk is corrupt."
It will then continue to download up until I reach 99%, at which point it will hang and that error will continue to pop up.
It will also give me an error if I attempt to download the patch off of a website and apply it manually, but, I forgot to write down the error it gives.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game many times, and nothing has worked.
Does anyone have any idea as to what I could do?
Thanks for any help.
