Steam + TFC/Counterstrike

I've got Steam running via Cedega, and so far it's working well.

However, I was adjusting Steam's settings, and set it to show the Browse Games screen when steam is started. Now that it does that, I can't get to my games list, or any other screen in Steam for that matter. I'd like to know if there's a way to reset that. I've tried reinstalling steam, but that has no effect. It may be a registry setting.

Or, if there is a way to start TFC and/or Counterstrike without having to open steam first, that would work too.

Why would you want to see the Browse Games screen? I always want to Play Games rather than Browse them..

Ok if you can't see the update screens that pop up in Steam, heres what you need to do. You need the Transgaming Mozilla Control install. It allows HTML based coded to run with your games. Without it, yeah browse games and any news or update screens will be blank.

thats just it, I thought "Browse Games" would give me a list of available games, so I could play them. I guess "Play Games" is what I really wanted. They should word that more accurately.

I've installed the Mozilla control, but don't know how to use it.

I am subscribed.

ok install the Mozilla control is simple! Login as your user, open up a terminal and run this,

/usr/bin/tg-mozctl-install

It'll make you read the agreement and all that then it will download the control and install it for that user. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE ROOT TO INSTALL! lol made that mistake and figured out later that each user that uses P2P or Cedega has to install it manually for HTML to work..

GL!
