Im starting to feel quite hopeless on this.
Ive looked in the file, it was allready set to false.
I changed in the game restarted, still not in sync. chnged in the game to hardware, restarted, still the same, and did that with all options, even tried with the music option turned off. Allso ive tried with and without the aRTs server running. Still no succes.
Dont know more what to try. I mean, i know the hardware works for the game from winxp. so it cant be malfunction there. It must be either some game setting somewhere or linux settings. but i really dont know what to look for.
Is there any idea to try to upgrade motherboards chipset, the VIA ones? Or doesnt that mather in linux?
hehehe
Well I'm a newbie, what to say, i saw that you could install something called ALSA if you have soundprobs, so i did, and now it works, sound in real-time and resolution as i want it.
Now its only the crappy textures left to fix, but I'm getting there at least. Soon i can play as i want to :-)
hanzerik, I'm at work now, but as soon as i can tonight i will get you one.
But i can say like, the is a very "green and purple" thing going on, shadows from lights in a room seems kinda green, walls looks like "old Quake style" every block a copy of the one before, with same pattern and so on. Hills texture look like dried green dessert. (i played only insurgent camp when i tried, but thats the one i used to play most except radio tower)
I have set all settings to either very high or ultra high. and with those settings under win, it will look sooo much better, so I'm thinking maybe my GL drivers don't do their work. Faces and body's do look quite all right though.
But ill get back with a screen-shot tonight.
