AAO Voice Communication

I'm playing AAO for a couple of months on Redhat Linux 9.0 and it works fine except that I can't use the voice communication like "Roger", "Spread Out", "Report In", ...

I think it's caused by some key combinations that don't work. I've already checked some things but I can't find a solution for this.

Anyone has a solution for this ?

Many thanks.
