Quake III point release problem

Uncompressing Quake III Arena Point Release 1.32 .................................................................................................... .............................................

That is all that happens when I run the file, nothing else

Anyone know why?

Try using Putty to do the install. The screen will allow the 1/2 ass gui that is made to answer install questions. I tried to install using webmin.....had the same problem. Putty was a much smoother install.

It may be the installer you are using. There is a 1.32b version of the installer wich may help with your problem. Check this thread at the bottom of the 1st page, it may be what you need. http://www.easylinuxguide.com/index....iewtopic&t=735
