Okay, I have two optical drives, a DVD-ROM and a CD-RW. Normally, I just put my games in the DVD-ROM when I go to play them, however, I was lazy this time, and just slapped WC3 in my CD-RW. However, Cedega doesn't seem to notice it, and exclaims that the WC3 CD isn't in my computer. Obviously, its checking the DVD-ROM and panicking, realizing that CoH isn't WC3. How can I tell Cedega that BOTH optical drives could harbor the game it's looking for?
Just create another Drive in the ~/.wine/config file. Copy the original cdrom section and just change the Label, Path and Device so it matches the CD-RW settings. e.g.
Well, its odd, there isn't an entry even for my DVD-ROM drive. Nonetheless, I went through and added one with all the information, but I still get the same problem. I am running Cedega though, rather than normal WINE, so is the configuration different?
EDIT: Even when I launch the game from autoplay.exe from the drive itself, it still doesn't find the CD.

Here's my config. It doesn't have the previous entry I used for the drive because it didn't work, and an entry wasn't available for my DVD-ROM in the first place.
I just built the latest wine and much to my supprise when I edited the config file there were no drives listed. Then even more amazing when I put my standard drive listings in the config file I got messages saying I shouldn't do that anymore? Well a trip to winehq.org/site/documentation and I soon learned that you no longer need to list drives in the config file. Now you simply make symlinks to the partition mount point in the directory ~/.wine/dosdevices. This is alot like dosemu does it. Now I don't know if cedega is adopting this scheme or not but if they are you could try it, it looks something like this:
I unfortunately couldn't find anything similar to that in my folders. Then again, I'm up pretty late (its 5 AM here now) playing City Of Heroes, so perhaps I'm just a little incoherent at the moment . Anyone else have any ideas? It just seems silly not to have both of them working.
