cedega winex Transgaming Drive path

hello ppl

I'm on MDK10.1OE and after solving all my migration problems I want to stop booting 2-5 times a week to windows for gaming (CS source mostly)

I have cedega/winex installed and I want to install HL2/CS source but my ~/ dir has about 6Gs free space (due to cxoffice macromedia and adobe installations). So I've set up an EXT3 partiotion on my 120G HDD for large windosy installations. How can I set up cedega to make my transgaming drive (the actual one ~/.Transgaming_Drive, not the link Transgaming_Drive@) to another mounted partition?

thanx!

Have you tried copying the .transgaming (or similar) directory over to its new location, and then creating a symbolic link to point from ~/.transgaming to /whereever/you/are/.transgaming

It's not guaranteed to work, but it's probably worth trying first and seeing what happens.

Also, if you're using point2play, the file .point2playrc sets a variable "gamedir", which in my case is set to ~/.point2play All my fake windows installations used by point2play when playing games are in there, so I'd assume (without having tried it) that you could move the directory and change the value of gamedir.

Cheers,

Ross-c
