What's wrong with doing it on the forums? THis way it's documented so other people wit hthe same problem can know what to do..

Did you make sure to do the tests in Point2Play that tests where everything is?

You should do that if you haven't so far.

If you installed from the CD, it SHOULD recognize where the cd is, if it doesn't check the configuration of the game, i play this game a lot on linux and i never had a problem..

1. Try not to install Windows games, or anything really, in /root. Root is only for maintainance. I don't think /usr/lib is a good idea either, but that's me.
2. Did you mount the CD? It's a common problem.
3. Point2Play is on TransGaming's download section, it's a graphical interface for Cedega.
