Hello everyone, i'v been using linux for a while now. Last years ive used debian stable simply because other people use this pc as well and i just like gnome 2 better then 3. I don't consider myself as an experience user, sure i know how to compile simple program from source and my own kernel and such but that's about it. I bumped into the linux from scratch project and it made me thinking of building one myself just for fun and to learn how a linux system works inside out more or less. I was just wondering if it is possible to integrate the debian installer with for example a custom image which would have the name of the distro. The distro isn't meant to be available for download or something just for myself but i like the fancy stuff a bit hehe.
So it would be nice if it said BLABLA Linux (not the real name hehe) instad of debian in the installer.

Can anyone tell me if that's possible? I've heard about the Slackware installer and the Red Hat one but is it possible with debian as well?

In case you distribute it don't forget to keep the credits of the original as well as to add yours to your changes and respect the trademarks [2] so there's no confusion on what comes from you and what it's official.
