Question changing speed of ethernet card


Hi,

I would like to know how to change the speed of NIC in linux? as it is showing auto-neg using mii-tool -v eth0

and my requirement is 100mbps full duplex.

The output of the command should actually show the speed at which the unit actually negotiated. Look at the mii-tool man pages for the proper options to force the adapter at different settings. What type of equipment is at the other end of the cable?
