I am new to linux and have setup a Novell OES SLES 9 linux server. The switch it is connected to is complaining that its trying to communicate at half duplex. I cant find where in linux to set the speed and duplex of the ethernet card.
Ok, but how do you make those NIC settings persistent, so they stay across reboots? The various "ETHTOOL_OPTS" and "options" lines I've tried are ignored every time. Again, this is SLES 9, at patchlevel 2.
