Red Hat 7.3 and software RAID

Hi all,

When I installed my RH7.3 system, I didn't configure any RAID. Now I want to play ith software RAID, I have read the HOWTO but I am not sure whether I have to recompile to use RAID, or simply create raidtab and then follow the rest of the HOWTO. In short, do I have to recompile to enable RAID or not?

Thanks!!!
