Latest from linux testing Center

Guys

as you know I set up the linux testing center 3 months ago and it finally looks as though our server will be up and running next month [2 months late] but novel sent me the free suse enterprise server software and I will get that going asap.
Latest tests:
Linspire 4.5 using the ect/apt source list you can apt get programs from debian I succesfully installed several mainly tvtime and freevo without screwing up click and run, results of tests on linspire are as follows
1] easy to install and configure, ideal for newbies and schools . it is linux despite the neysayers
not for me per say but my kids love it.

2] suse 9.1 once you add new ftp sites to your source list and disable dvd/cdrom upgrading software is a piece of cake Kde 3.3 works good except k3b cd burning does not correctly burn cd's from mp3 they have no postings on their sites.

3] Mandrake 10.0 makes installing java a chore but using urpmi is easy once you go to www.easyurpmi.org

4] debian still has trouble with nvidea cards[ newer ones] but if you get it configured its ease of future program installations with apt-get is fantastic

5] Kde 3.3 so far looks great some bugs ie with k3b
amoroke will be main music player for linux in future right now kaffeine 4.3 is really working great.

Other things in the works DAN OVER IN ENGLAND OR MYSELF NEED SOMEONE TO CONFIGURE STRATAGUS TO WORK ON SUSE9.1 .LINSPIRE 4.5 AND mANDRAKE 10.0 any help appreciated
email me at mail address removed

Please do not use the boards to ask for people to work in your lab. LQ is not (as yet) a jobs board and so this sort of thing isn't appropriate.
