Fsck and DEVFS problems.

Hi, installed gentoo all seems well but when i start it comes up with no DEVFS support installed visit a doc on the gentoos website, thats sounds easy enough ill go look at the doc on gentoos site for help heres my real problem when i start i get this error, fsck.xfs: Not found fsck: error 2 while excuting fsck.xfs for /dev/hdc8. Also when i boot its missing alot of modules but i dont know if that a big deal or what.

Thank you.

seems you forgot to install xfsutils ???
"emerge xfsutils"

as for DEVFS.... seems you didnt compile the kernel with DEVFS support ? neither did I.. DEVFS sucks ! i used UDEV instead... hopefully you DID compile UDEV, in that case, install UDEV's userspace utility with "emerge udev"
