Question FSCK problems

HI all

I had a problem running my redhat 7.2 version this morning and i got:

an unattached inode error....unexpected inconsistency; run fsck manually

so i ran fsck on the hardrive that redhat was installed on.....

anyways i fixed all the problems that popped up and rebooted.

I didnt get the unexpected inconsistency problem again however for some reason my screen went blank after the startup and i could not login evethough everything loaded fine.

any ideas from someone who knows something about fsck problems.

Mark

if you usually login thru the gui, try booting with the option to start in runlevel 3..

at the boot prompt or lilo prompt type Linux init 3
