Hi
I am using linux since 5 years. First I concentrated on konsole and try to learn how to work in command prompt. Now I feel very compfortable with command prompt. So I want to shift to some "purely desktop distro". I searched at google and found many results like Xandros, Knoppix, Fedora, Gentoo etc. Will you tell me that which one of the linux distros is "purely desktop" with excellent graphics and other cool options.
Thanks.
they're all pretty much good for the desktop. it's the dektop environments that matter. you probably want KDE or something. just try them all to see how you like them.
like Moloko said i don't see how a linux user experienced with the command line doesn't know what distro to choose....
